Eyeballs and brains are not the only medium we work with! Mrs. Grymm and I have been hard at work on two books to be released this year! The first, of course, with the assistance of hundreds of artists across the Steampunk Community. The 1000 Steampunk Creations Book by Quarry Publishing.

The second book which required alot more writing on both of our parts is How to Draw Steampunk by Walter Foster Publications. Slated to release this October, with the wonderful artwork of Bob Berry.
To quote the Walter Foster website:
"As you learn how to draw steam-powered machines and gadget-toting characters, Joey Marsocci and Allison DeBlasio of Dr. Grymm Laboratories explain the history and origin of steampunk, its cultural relevance, and other interesting facts about real-life steampunk machines and their makers."
We are very excited about the release of both of these books!
Dr. Grymm Laboratories will also be featured along with several other Steampunk Artists in the highly anticipated books:
The Steampunk Bible by Jeff Vandermeer and The Art of Steampunk by Art Donovan, both to be released this summer!
And although I was only an initial consultant on it, I must point you in the direction of the lovely Kady Cross's upcoming book, The Girl in the Steel Corset. Due for release this Fall!
These books will be available for sale at most bookstores, Amazon.com and wherever fine Steampunk Books are sold!
Get your reading goggles ready!

Picked up "1000 Steampunk Creations" on the weekend. Excellent compilation, letting the works speak for themselves, very good design per page. I really liked the linkage between images of the same work, both the actual technique and the implementation. You've both put together a fantastic resource. Now, how do I apply to get some artifacts registered for the "Next 1000"? :)
